American Airlines is in the process of merging with US Airways. This merger is expected to close in the third quarter of 2013.

@AmericanAir And nothing is āun-refundableā for a multi-billion dollar company. After the crap not only me but a vast majority of my team went through this weekend with Americanā¦ Canceled flights at the last minute for no reason, delays and rebookings far from destinationā¦ itās bull.

@AmericanAir couldn't be more disappointed in an airline. Meant to fly MIA-LHR but land in Canada due to engine on fire. Then stranded in Canada for 14 hours with ZERO communication and no option for a hotel for you to fly us to New York and lose everyone's bags.

@AmericanAir this bull that yāall are pulling lying to everyone stuck on this plane AA2948 to Memphis is ridiculous. The captain gives us some BS about waiting on catering carts because they donāt want to recalculate weights but yāall are steady throwing on people and luggage.
