Signal is an encrypted communications application for Android and iOS. It uses the Internet to send one-to-one and group messages, which can include files, voice notes, images and videos, and make one-to-one voice and video calls. Signal uses standard cellular mobile numbers as identifiers, and uses end-to-end encryption to secure all communications to other Signal users.

@all_secured @ProtonPrivacy @signalapp Proton only handed the recovery email because they were served by a court order. They didn't fight it as it was associated with terrorism. I don't see how people can blame them for that

@all_secured @ProtonPrivacy @signalapp And any talk about Signal being associated with the US government is nonsense. Why don't you interview Signal president @mer__edith for an answer to that Josh? Before blaming her platform as insecure

@Decentralizedaz @naomibrockwell @signalapp @session_app @SimpleXChat Although you need a telephone number to use Signal you don't have to give it out to others to contact them. Signal have recently introduced usernames and you only have to give out your username to contact someone. Signal is now an anonymous messenger

@DarkXayne @Notknownguy @session_app @TutaPrivacy @TuckerCarlson The FBI can't even hack @ProtonMail so I didn't think they'd be able to hack @signalapp You can maybe ask Signal president @mer__edith if her app can be hacked by the authorities

@session_app @TutaPrivacy @signalapp is now an anonymous messenger app. A recent update is usernames. You no longer have to give your phone number to someone to contact them. However you still have to give your phone number to create a Signal account
