@Basil_TGMD Lee has obviously never heard of the Carrier Liability Act, airlines check passengers travel docs b4 they embark if they don't allow entry to country then they can't board as carrier would be fined £2k. If the passenger somehow gets here he's immediately returned & carrier fined.

@CromwellStuff Because under the UKs carrier liability act airlines have to check that anyone boarding has the correct passport and visa. If they don’t the carrier (ferry or airline) can be fined £2000 (may have gone up by now.)
