I have 5 ballistic apps on my phone and use them regularly. Applied Ballistics is the most expensive and the least user-friendly of them all One particular app is free and the most user-friendly I don't recommend Applied Ballistics, and I only use it at home because I have 30 dollars invested and would like to learn how to operate it. When at the range for practice or at matches, I use the free app. At this moment, I still feel that Applied Ballistics is a rip-off
Strelok Pro was absolutely the BEST. Since it's a Russian app, it's no longer available (war in Ukraine). Paid $30 Applied Ballistics and only 50% of app works. Now I'm going to get a refund.
Download app will not even sync ,waste of money.
4.5 MOA Off at 1060 yds. The free berger ballistics calc was spot on with hdy 130 eldm (2800 fps in 6.5 creed) noticed it with a gas gun and 73 eldm also. "Trued" bc until both drop charts agreed within a couple .1 moa. Went back and realized I was at Hornady's quoted g7 bc. Nothing wrong with the calc, but beware, have to manually input bcs to get accurate elevation. **Was helping a guy at the range shooting 95 vmax in 6.5 creed. Same thing. 5 MOA high at 1060...**
Have to purchase CDMs
Terrible UI, limited reticles, and overall giant pain to use. really does not get you much beyond what free ballistic calculators online can give. This was a complete waste of money and I wish I could get a refund.
App crashes when preferences are selected. So, app is stuck in imperial.
Absolutely the worst customer service I've experienced. Don't waste your time or money. If you go to their website, it refers to an FAQ section which is not to be found. It also states there is a web version, also not to be found. I asked six questions via their online email in, only got one responded to. Go elsewhere.
Just gives me a blank screen and what I can view doesn't even have my caliber. Can't find a way to get my $30 back. Don't do it!
Can you please update the app and add in the new reticles and features.
