I want my money back
Purchased for parental controls, but it never really worked. It worked 1 day then it stopped working and I had to set it up again. This happened over and over again, until I gave up and tried to cancel. That is even more frustrating. I can cancel on line, but trying to get money back under 60 day guarantee is a real pain. Going to switch to bark and hope it is better than this failure.
will be stopping this service. They never notified me of a data breach. However my Credit card company did instead, 3 days after the breach. nothing yet from Aura. don't bother with this service.
LET ME CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION This dumb subscription cancel button doesn't work when you press it all it shows a a loading symbol nothing else. Do Not download this app they will hold you paypal hostage and also you can't manually delete your OWN INFO. Keep that in mind when you download this app.
Alerts are incredibly bad. They lsay they are powered by AI. I say they are powered by AS - Artificial Stupidity. Mortgage payments classified as "service". Going to my regular grocery alerted as "suspicious". I could go on and on. Look elsewhere. They responded and suggested I speak to customer care. I have. Repeatedly. All they say is that the AI people are working on making it better. But in all the time I've had it, there has been no improvement.
not an intuitive sure
Problem #1. Plaid is limited so Aura isn't able to monitor my credit union which is not in Plaid. Problem #2. Aura didn't pick up that my laptop was hacked. Problem #3. Aura's tabs have no where to allow me to update my new credit union account numbers which my credit union had me change after my laptop was hacked. Problem #4. Aura doesn't show (in my password protected Aura vault) vendor name of vendor card accounts ...instead the just list last four numbers of vendor account.
UPDATE:: We were told there is no refund for monthly subscription- EVEN THOUGH WE SIGNED UP FOR A FREE TRIAL AND WERE STILL CHARGED. This app was used for less than one HOUR. Update 2:: Denied refund again. Claim filed with BBB. Kids can just delete or turn off the vpn settings. There is no way to password protect it. It also does not send notifications to parent app when searches or websites are blocked. Also the free trial is bogus. We were charged immediately. Absolutely worthless.
The worst
It's way to expensive for what they offer. And just know the $19.99 doesn't include any parental control.
