Recent Reports
Perfect app before the update, now glitchy and in shambles. They added some useful features like the option to add custom recipes and ingredients but they made it much harder to find your favorite recipes (or any recipe for that matter) and now it is broken and the app never starts but forever is stuck on the loading screen.
Used to love this but a weird update suddenly deleted all of my favorites, makes the app load forever on startup, searching for drinks shows dozens of random drinks before the drink you literally searched for. I can see what they tried to do with the update but it was rushed, untested and broken. I hope they'll figure it out soon, but avoid this app for now.
Your newest update completely erased everything I had saved on this app. Good job ruining it.
Randomly logged me out and won't let me log in with my old profile, deleting all my ingredients/ favorites
New update has turned this into garbage. Searching for a cocktail should take me straight to it, regardless of that ingredients I have added.
There is absolutely no excuse to deleting years of favourite cocktails added by each user on the app. It was definitely a decision of "not being worth doing it". Even if the old libraries were local and syncing was not an option, they could have warned the users on a previous update. And yes, it is possible. You could have exported the cocktails list. There is no new functionality worth losing years of your favourites. An unprecedent stab in the back, when you least expected. Shame.
Takes *forever* to load. Doesn't have some basic ingredients like 1/2 & 1/2, pineapple juice, others. There should be some way to add these. Font is too small/wrong serif choice. There is no shopping list feature/ingredient suggestions, makes it hard to plan purchases. No online version, have to use mobile which is quite annoying. Overall meh. Note 1/15/2023: Sweet cream is not the same as 1/2 & 1/2. Pineapple is not the same as pineapple juice.
