No longer gives suggestions for misspelled words 🤔
Many simple everyday words not defined; comes up no results found for "Clueless," limerick,...etc!
I don't know what's happening, but ANY word I try to look up at the app shows a "no results" page (I even tried to find the word "apple"). Cleaned my cache and reinstalled it. Still the same mistake.
It doesn't work now, it can't find results for words like: go, like , instance, tape, .... I mean any word. I reinstalled it and problem is not solved. What happened ?
Does not return to previous app after defining a word. Even if the close the dictionary app and then return to the app I was searching the definition from it reopens the dictionary app but not the original app I was using. Please fix this as I have the paid version and as of now it's useless. I have to just Google the definition. Update 8-1-24 Still having this problem, now running android 14. 2 years later and no fix!
This Premium app is deserving of less than 1 star. The free version app says there are unlockable features. This version has "supposedly" all unlocked. I bought this version. To see if the offline works, I turned on airplane mode. As soon as my phone loses signal, the app stops functioning. Even if I turn on airplane mode after searching a word. There is no offline dictionary. That seems deceitful. If/when this review receives a reply and the issue gets fixed, I will take off this 1-star review.
Not able to turn on notification like word of the day.
Hi recently i have been using this app and I find it helpful but i face a problem when i try to delete words i don't need. I select it in the favourite and recent list and click delete it disappears TEMPORARILY only to REAPPEAR the next time I open the app can you help. Also why does the app say it seem you are offline when I am online and my why is the app responding poorly please help
Enjoyable but incomplete. While I can look up certain words, some sre outright missing from certain parts of the app: Rus (Viking clan), roi (French form of King), og (Norwegian "and"), etc are among the missing. Instead, I get ridiculously obscure words that I'm not even sure are words - even with my knowledge of five languages - in the English language, let alone any others. It's maddening.
Too many pop ups. Incessant pestering, asking the user to turn a function on or the endless pop ups asking for a rating and review. If I wanted a function on or off, I would do so. Relatedly, if I wanted to leave a rating and review, I would do so. The endless pop up prompts are intrusive and unnecessary. They negatively affect the user experience.
