Absolutely NO reason for this to be a subscription based app.
After paying for this app for years... They conveniently deleted our account! They obviously didn't like that we were grandfathered into their cheaper subscription and are trying to get more money out of us.
I'll change my review once they address the widget issue on android only partially displaying the details.
Have to upgrade in order to set custom chore times. False advertisement
Love the app - truly. Re-downloaded after a very short break while I moved.. went to set up a new system.. and what on earth did the develops hope to achieve with the new pricing?! I paid $5.99/yr for the last few years with a second (spouse) phone also connected.. now it's $12.99/ for 1, up to $79.99/yr for 12 people connected. To jump from $5.99 to $24.99 for 2 people to utilize is INSANITY. I will find a different app, won't even consider supporting this nonsense.
You can only data sync with another phone if you pay for premium
Horrible
Spent ages configuring it only to find out at the very last step that it will cost me $50 if I want to use the only feature of the app that is of any real value (sharing tasks with house mates). This kind of scam behaviour is why it gets 1 star. If it proactively informed me of the pricing before I went though the whole process I'd have uninstalled it without a negative review.
I really want to love this app, but the DataSync feature is unusable. The only way to get it set up between two phones is by using the link to share since the Invite ID never works. Even after the two phones are connected, the secondary connected account won't be able to sync with the main phone after just a short while. Please, please fix this so that my girlfriend and I can actually use this app.
A family of 6 premium is ridiculously expensive. Reply: I think, I paid $6.99 for a year last time. Even with buying 4 subs for my family is $27.96 compared to $89.98 or $74.99 depending on options available. Thank you for the feedback though.
