Google broke this app again and is saying blocked because it tried to access sensitive information. Please fix it.
Used to be my go-to app over years, but something broke recently. First, spam filter plug-in doesn't work properly: it won't import settings (whitelist in particular) from old device, and when I whitelist manually, it still puts some whitelisted emails to spam. Then, very recently the app stopped showing notifications upon email arrivals - can't tell for sure, but this might coincide with upgrade to OneUI 6.1 Samsung recently released. UPD: still no fix - what I pay for?
The app will not work unless notifications are allowed. Opening the app with the notifications disabled takes one to a screen which is insistent on enabling notifications.
All of a sudden, I cannot open my Microsoft files, it forces me to save, why.
UPDATE : 16/03/2024. Down to one star. This is going backwards. Worst problem occurs whilst replying to mails from the combined inbox. The app bins you out to inbox, saving some of the mail in draft. When trying to continue using the draft cooy, each new line is not in the default text colour and must be changed . If the app bins you out again, some of the text will be missing. When you finally conplete the mail and send, it only saves and sends the text that existed the first time it binned.
Stalls in Android 14. This app isn't maintained.
Not fetching emails on imap/gmail started with Android 14 upgrade. emails come in when app is opened but not when in background. pixel 5. no response from developer
A yr later, sweet FA done to fix the problems so now totally unusable & sweet FA support from Maildroid. 2022 - 2yrs later, now find this app not usable anymore & support had been poor with no help to resolve the problem when I contacted them. So will be removing the app as no longer can sent emails from any of my MSN email accounts but can from other apps. Shame as this was the best email client app. August 2020 - Love the free one so went for the pro version & it's so nice to have it ad free
As of late October 2023 an update, after more than two years. The major issues under Android 12 and later remain though: the S/MIME mechanism is broken, and OAuth2 authentication is not supported. Hopefully these shortcomings will be addressed at some point - till then, this app does nothing for me.
No longer updated. Had to change the password for an account. Can't relog into gmail to complete authentication. After wanting to giving permission it goes to a Localhost page and errors out.
