I have a fast internet. And I have a very fast intranet. I also have two ubiquity Wi-Fi pucks, all within close proximity of both my ring devices. Nevertheless, when I go to look at the live feed on my garage floodlight camera, it is choppy and filled with artifacts. Recordings are even worse. I had a lot of hope for Ring. That has long since diminished! My son has nest. I may go buy some of those and see what happens. I'm going to buy the cheap stuff cuz I spent way too much money on it Ring!
Got a new phone, same number. Won't let me sign in. Can't receive email verification code. Don't have a previously signed in device. As of now, whole system is worthless.
There are SO many alerts that just will not open for me to view. I'm not sure what is happening at my home when I'm not there. It's both disappointing and annoying This app has not changed. I can't EVER see what's going on. I received at least 10 alerts this afternoon. The app can't find my location, so it's not opening. It shouldn't matter where I am! Isn't that the point of the camera? To be able to watch your house from anywhere? This is my LAST year! It's not worth the stress!
Always worked fine however recently I had bogus callers so actually needed to check footage, it records video but unable to play back fully as after a few seconds the screen goes white and it goes back to the home screen so unable to watch the video fully to find out what's going on
Been an hour trying to share devices and it won't work. I'm clicking link and logging in but there is no invite. This app also sends you outside of it constantly. Why have an app if you constantly send users to your website to do the same thing? I wouldn't recommend any of these products.
WHY ARE YOU RAISING PRICES AGAIN FROM $39.99 TO $49.99 WITHOUT OFFERING ANY ADDITIONAL FEATURES !?!?! RIDICULOUS. THE GREED IS DISGUSTING. TIME TO SELL OFF THESE CAMERAS AND SWITCH. Especially after the Illegal Surveillance of customer scandal. So now we have to pay for the 5.8 million settlement. What a disgrace. Update: Just canceled before the renewal. Feels amazing. New systen installed. Already convinced people I know to do the same. They were surprised to hear about the price increases.

App does not read the tiny microdots on the package. App does not read the barcode either. Tech phone support says I must buy more expensive equipment!!! I think this is bait and switch!!! Tech support failed to describe initial power up flashes correctly. Nomad sequence seems to be a short flash followed by two longer flashes about 15 seconds later. Need for a communication processor may not be needed. But cannot seem to setup unit without a legible microdot or barcode!! Really sucks!!!!!!
With the recent update the app now blocks arm/disarm functions without the pro paid plan. What good is a home security app if you can't arm/disarm it? I have the keypad station in my house but also this system for my detached garage. Now I am unable to disarm the system when I get home through my app. Rending it completely useless. Why disable this function except for a cash grab to force users into paying their monthly subscription fees? I have had a ring system for 6 years, but now its useless
