It used to be good but now it has too many issues with rewards. Customer service was some AI nonsense with preset answers. Not worth trying to fight to get what they promised. Just never going back to Starbucks.
2024-08-05: app slows to a laggy craw when opening the Order menu after July 15 update. 2022-12-28: rewards program changes severely devalued consumers existing stars. 2022-11-02: Starbucks support demonstrated they do not care to fix the issue below. 2022-06-17: app signed out automatically, now throws "A system error has occurred. Please try again later" error when signing in. Website works flawlessly so this isn't an account issue.
App hasn't let me sign in for almost two weeks
Not working right for past month. Haven't been able to place an order nor even add a new payment card due to "system error" for over a month now. It makes the app less of a need.
Not working at all on galaxy s32 or revvl 5g after recent update keeps saying 'system error has occurred' when logging in
The app seems to always have a problem with letting me sign in. I tried over three times and it has technical issues on their end. I wish they'd fix the app or make it easier to sign in. It looks good and I've given it more stars if it worked.
My app has been frozen for weeks. My star numbers have not moved even though I've used them. I can no longer order ahead. The app says it's down and will be fixed soon. With no estimated date. Prior to this, the app worked amazing. And ordering ahead really helped on the go-to work orders.
What good is having the app when store locations don't honor it
The prices at the airports are off the charts for one. But as for the app. The wait times are not accurate, it doesn't alert when it's ready until 10 minutes later and they assume you get the alert so they don't call it out. You can't use a gift card to zero it out and finish with a secondary credit card. The endless reload is ridiculous and scammy scummy
Won't let me sign in. Continually says system errors.
