Just downloaded this app and it doesn't work just says "error code: 403 This page is inaccessible" :(
Ads are so aggressively excessive I uninstalled. Will be using browser + adblock.
It's no different than just using the website in the browser except with annoying ads that take up most of the screen every time you switch back to the app. I put up with it at first because I could close them almost immediately, but then it threw a fullscreen ad that had to be closed THREE TIMES. I know they have to make their money somehow, but I think I'll just stick to the browser version.
I find it to be concerning when any app that says sign in through google then suddenly needs my password. I know my password- the problem is it asking when most things automatically sign in unless you create a user and pass for it.
Suuuuper slow and laggy, and every single maker I tap gives me a 404. I'll just stick to the website.
Allows actual malicious ads, just like their site.
invasive ads, keeps opening random sketchy tabs. use the browser version.
Look, I love picrew. It's a great place to go to when I don't have the energy to draw, and want to get my ideas out. HOWEVER, the app is completely unusable. Every 30 seconds, an ad pops up. Not only that, sketchy scam websites open multiple tabs in my browser. I'm tired of it. I will only change my review if/when picrew fixes the ad problem with their app. I understand they need to make money, and I don't blame them for that. But at this point you should just use the browser version.
Get an ad at least every 2 minutes
I've used the website before and was a huge fan. The app, however, is completely unusable. The app seems to load ads on the screen before actually showing the ad, so instead of clicking on a new clothing option or color, it takes me to the ad. Most of the time, it's an invasive malware ad pretending to be an antivirus, and opens multiple tabs on Google. Every time I log in, it also sends an alert that I've logged in on a Nexus 5, and that's another security risk to me. Just use the browser, imo.
