no location updates in over 3 days even though the app claims there are more than a hundred tile users nearby. completely useless.
Tile is six foot from phone and can not locate. What a joke and waste of money. Update - 1 year later, multiple contacts with customer service, app updates, battery change in tile devices and it still fails to work. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Update 2 Tile customer service is a joke. Tile device with a brand new battery, app updated and it has a 50% fail rate when the Tile fob is within 6 feet of the phone.
You cannot replace the battery on multiple of its models nor are they rechargeable. ATOP of that they require a subscription just to let you know when your device got out of the Bluetooth range, ridiculous!
Stop working after the first week I purchased it.
Unable to delate old tiles and add new ones
Drains phone battery and seems to always be running in the background.
Takes space, only works if you're in the same room or in the next room, doesn't tell you the location. I'm only giving it 1 star rather than 0 because I like the ringtone to annoy people.
5 stars when I can see the most simple things without premium. I just want to know the battery life of my devices.
Not that useful, it has a dependency on Bluetooth first.
I bought the small tile with the unreplaceable battery thinking it'd last me a couple months at least. Nope. It died on the 3rd day! I also didn't find the map very helpful, saying my cat was inside at a spot 24/7 when he clearly was outside. I would also open the app and the 'Find' button was nowhere to be seen, had to wait for it to pop up or something. Unfortunate.
