Useless after the new update/rebrand
The app is unusable because it declines my card. I tried multiple times, checked the info multiple times, tried via site interface instead of app, same problem. Went in person, card works fine. Card works fine in other apps, so not sure what the problem is
Forced update broke app, it li longer connects for ordering.
Can't login to my account anymore after this "Local by Toast" rebrand. It asks me to login with a phone number, then creates an entirely new account for me. I had order history and points on my account, please bring it back! Password reset via website does nothing, it looks like my account was deleted. A shame, I liked using Toast for local pickup.
Thanks for the cosmetic icon and name change guys. Now if I could just order some food and not get the constant error message about "Please make sure you've selected all required modifiers." Even when I try to order something where there isn't anything to modify! Also there's no info cautioning me when a restaurant may be closing. I wouldn't want to make an order in the last 10 mins of a store that's about to close. I tried to contact support but received no response.
The app gets stuck on the opening screen and will not progress past that point.
Unusable. I downloaded this because a new pizza place in my area only uses it for pickups. I prefer not to share my phone with a third party just to order a pizza. But I did it. The app would not show the restaurant in question. It did show two that were closer to me. It seems like the app will only show places within a predetermined distance. Not good in rural areas. There is no way to search for restaurants on the app, it only shows ones within a certain distance. Phones are so much easier.
Unable to modify orders, toast customer support is kinda useless.
Ordered a meal at a restaurant supposed to be nearby. Address was wrong/incomplete and GPS led me astray. Turned out to be on the opposite side of town. I could not get delivery on time, wasted precious time trying to get there and finally had to buy another lunch on the way to make it back to work in decent delay! Get your addresses right, folks!
