Updated 8/24 — the new update is one of the worst UIs I've ever seen for an app. Please change it back. Tedious, slow, ineffective, and intrusive. I get so sick of going through and marking all the drives where I was a passenger so I don't get penalized for no reason.
Horrible update! It's clunky to get to your trips and when you do, you can't click on the map any longer to see what trip it is! It's zoomed in so close that all you see is where you arrived. Also, we need to be able to default to passenger. I spend way too much time having to update. Please fix!!
This latest update is awful. The user experience is substantially worse and actively confusing compared to before, along with being just ugly. Well that and for some reason the app is now draining my battery extremely fast, taking huge amounts of battery power while doing nothing. I never had this issue before and the app used to function the same exact way
Today, I had to uninstall this POS app. After the latest update, it was using 49% of my battery power and drained fully charged battery overnight while phone was idle and I was sleeping. I've been using this app since 2020 and have welcomed the discounts, but this plus the erroneous recording of infractions, mostly harsh braking, is BS. I've been with USAA for 50-plus years, but this app's algorithms are garbage. How it rates a 4.1 is beyond me, since the reviews are overwhelmingly negative.
Absolutely hate the update. I never take time to write a review. Please revert back to the previous version and make that one better. Or leave it alone. Learned in the Marines if something ain't broke don't fix it!
The app got worse. Literally! The one thing that made it somewhat easy to use was the cards for trips that you could swipe between to correct the classification issues. Nope! That is gone now. Who designed this app? It's horrible! Talk about making life hard for zero reason!
Latest update is terrible. Used to be clear and easy to use. Now, it's hard to navigate. Won't show where supposed infractions occur along the drive. Only shows the end point. Makes it hard to determine which trip it was and if I was the driver or passenger.
It's like they don't want people to actually go in and edit trips where they aren't the driver anymore. Not intuitive at all anymore. Difficult to see what the trips were. Haven't you heard the phrase "Don't fix what what isn't broken?" I'm very disappointed with USAA and the developers on this one. It's just stupid. The app was fantastic before.
