Horrible all around
Venmo is trash. They freeze your account, though it hasn't been used, and want you to go through hoops cause of their error. Can't even delete the account. Their support is trash, having you download all these apps to figure the issue out and nothing was solved.
This is the worst company. They allow false identity for thieves and fraustar to steal innocent people's money and could not get back your money. I will not recommend this company. It's a waste of time. Their IT department is a mess and security is open to fraudsters that they can identify real account from fake.
Thought this app was going to be great.. But, boy was I wrong! My account got suspended (perm) for suspicious activity after receiving money from a family member (my mom) Don't use and I highly don't recommend Venmo
I try opening up a venmo account, so I select "sign up"... Then it asked me for my phone number, so I gave it my phone number. It sent me a text code to confirm that it is in fact my phone... So I confirm... Then it puts my phone number in the username column and asked me for a password, as if I've already signed up, which of course I haven't.... So it says it doesn't recognize either my password or my username... Why would it?...I'VE YET TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS TO BEGIN WITH!!! Cashapp it IS!!
They get a 00 I opened an account had my pay sent and they froze my account completely legitimate payment from a company I sub For cash app is down so tried Venmo they do not allow you to speak to anyone and may take up to 7 biz days or longer that means I get late payments on late bills they are owned by pay PAl scumbags
Transfers take forever-don't even get me started on their credit card
I use this app about once a year. And it wants my life history. Not going to happen
