After you pay $100 for the adapter, they make you pay another $60 or $150 annual subscription to do anything useful in the app. Just pay a local shop instead.
I had this app for a while now it won't let me in at all it's asking me for a password I can't even get in at all thanks for the update grade it sucks
I got scammed. If you buy 1 year subscription in app via GooglePay, you got nothing. I contacted the help section. Submitting proof of payments, but they don't respond. Perhaps it is better to look for a safer alternative diagnostic solution
I am updating this review, its still one star because they in my opinion have stopped developing the VAG App and are now fully committed only to non Vag App. The one exception is SFD2 which they keep telling us they are working on but still no nearer to a solution. Communication with user community is poor its up to people to share the info they get from support instead of communication team telling us. IOS Is a poorer version of the App and no update if they are ever going to be delivered.
Does not work on newer cars, and none of their product listings mention this. In fact, they still list 2024 models as compatible if you browse their catalog of supported vehicles. This is more than an inconvenience, this is deceitful marketing. Do not buy before checking with their support staff if your specific car is compatible.
Useless, bought the OBD transmitter for $140, then used the scanner app only to find out that you have to pay for each action in the app. Purchased this to put calipers into service mode $3.50 only to then have to pay another $3.50 to take it back out of service mode. Other options are ridiculous yearly subscription rates, which are not for the average user. I'll be going back to VCDS. At least, I'll know what I'm paying for.
Pro doesn't let you code says function unavailable! Don't waste your money they won't give you a refund!
The subscription model makes this app unsuitable for a regular person. Way too expensive for basic functionality.
Doesn't work. have to pay
Unfortunately it feels like I've been ripped off. Got the device got credits and then bought the pro yearly subscription. To allow me just to change rear discs and pads and it's just turned into a week long hassle and achieved nothing but a loss of money.
