Not only did it take over 6 months to transfer my investments from CIBC to WealthSimple, only 1000 easy steps.... But they also have such a long hold when you cancel a trade that was on a limited by and then try to repurchase at a different price. Today for example I canceled a trade at 3:47 p.m. and they would not allow me to buy for the rest of the day because they didn't actually put the money back in my account for some reason.

Since the new app update on July 19th, everytime the app is minimized then relaunched, it forces a sign on for password and 2FA. So annoying.. Android 13 on Samsung. Any way to revert back to the previous app version? This is still not fixed and other users on social media are having the same issue. You need to fix this or allow rollbacks to working versions before July 19th. I recently became a premium account holder by transferring from another company, but now I question why I did this...
Yes this is for sure right and thier response is a blatant attempt to coverup their bologna. I've gotta say this much... BEWARE! This is a cash grab and these folks at wealth simple are very shady. Money will go missing from your account or holds will be placed on your funds. They do everything for them and you have almost no way to get hold of anyone for days.
Terrible. Just in one day I lost +20k USD. endless bugs, disappeared trades and positions for a long time!! They call it screening issue! Find a better platform for your trading. Terrible support.
I moved my savings to their Cash account for the 4% rate and not even a month later they've changed the interest rate to 3.5%. Not the end of the world but extremely annoying.
For the past few months, the platform has been quite reliable. But today, after purchasing a stock during a rally, w.s decided to not show my holdings and the sell button. It took 18mins to get a hold of somebody that can fix the issue. They had to "resync" my account. But by then, the stock had already reversed on a downtrend. This is a major flaw. Don't take the time to reply to my comment. Do something about it. The rep I spoke to said this isn't the 1st. Lost $$$ cuz of this server issue
