Not too thrilled with fateshard progression system. Doubled the grind. Rng heavy, some effects don't work as described, and it gets old fast.
Might as well take up coin flipping. The random elements of this game render any skill or knowledge irrelevant. This is one of those games where if you get lucky with your choices, congrats, is a walk in the park. If not, you have zero chance. It has decent bones mechanically, but the devs have made it clear they don't care and will not respond to people with problems. They just keep adding more and more cards, further diluting the chance of getting someone useful. Save your money and your time.
Seeded Sunforge is a joke.
It's a decent game but I lost interest in completing the same short campaign over and over to unlock new characters and items. The story is boring honestly and the gameplay gets stale after a bit. There are also dlc packs which seem over priced after playing the main game. It's not bad but Slay the Spire is a better use of your money honestly for this type of game. Also they changed the game to have some "fan service" which is lame.
Bought a new DLC, and they've added an enemy that in one turn sets your hp to 10, and then in the following turn deals damage immediately, which guarantees that you will die from it no matter how many HP you've had. Extremely annoying to play against, and just a terrible design.
Good base game, but constantly game breaking bugs and close to 0 balance. Update: Game broke once again.
BAD exp. Game is all over the place with inconsistency. Not challenging when you completely and utterly take control of the player's hand. Why does anyone need decision-making skills if the AI is basically making all the decisions for you and controlling everything in BOTH hands? Insanely slow grind with very little reward for your work. Beat it on normal mode while trying to learn it and got 27 points to spend, where anything of value is from 50 to 125 points? Cards don't half work. Wasted$$$!
Pro-tip: It's customary to let Players play the game. Pretty expensive for such a flawed game. Could have been better if they had a professional or two join the team. It's an investment to do that, but well worth it as it cuts down on rookie mistakes. Gave it another chance; that idiotic vine statue boss fight is probably the stupidest boss fight I've ever done. Btw, hire a 2nd grader to help with your math. You are WAY off! 32 - 54 is not 17. You guys okay over there?
I enjoyed the game at first. Hunter is really strong with Greatbow. Played up to 60% Malignancy. Phone had issues. Reinstall game. All progress gone. My purchases are still there but all my talents and points have been reset. What a waste of time and money.
Absolute garbage, i don't think i've ever played more unbalanced and unfair abomination of a game. Whoever designed swamp boss and elder lich needs to stay away from making games. Espescially in surforge. This game offers laughable amount of gameplay for the base price and expansions cost same much per. I bet they sell you solution to beat the game in expansions because the base is laughably bad. There are free alternatives with way more content and depth without any bs unlike this joke.
