Arkane Studios SASU, a French video game developer based in Lyon, was founded in 1999 and released its debut game, Arx Fatalis, in 2002. In addition to its Lyon headquarters, the company operated a second studio, Arkane Studios LLC, in Austin, Texas, from July 2006 until its closure in May 2024.
