CBC Gem Reports & Customer Service
CBC Gem is CBC Television's over-the-top streaming platform, launched in 2018 to replace the previous CBC TV app. It offers both live and on-demand programming from CBC Television, CBC News, and CBC Sports, as well as a variety of original content and acquired films and TV series.
The service is available in two versions: a free ad-supported option and a premium version. The premium subscription provides ad-free video on-demand, access to CBC News Network, and exclusive content available only to subscribers.
At its launch, CBC announced plans to add at least 50 Canadian films to Gem each year and established a partnership with Telefilm Canada to stream selected Canadian films ad-free for all users.
