Will not connect to charger, customer service is non existent .
I couldn't pay using the app, and even using my cc at the terminal was a bad experience. They charge a lot of money for a pretty low quality experience!
Update Evgo app doesn't allow you to stop the charge from your phone. The touch screen malfunctions at various locations causing me to have to wait up to a minute for it to stop. Both ChaDemos on the West side are infamous for having to call customer service to stop charging and they don't have emergency off buttons. Evgo chargers cost more up front than other stations and are slower. I often have to plug in and disconnect then try again because it couldn't connect the first time.
Can't even sign up. Has errors when inputting my phone number and verifying

I cant sing up
The most trash tier app and service ever. Reserving charger never works, chargers themselves are almost always malfunctioning or broken, app and charger states are never in sync saying a stall is open when its not, charging randomly stops sometimes, this company is a complete waste of your time. It is amazing they manage to stay in business at their level of incompetence.
Most of the EVgo Charging Stations are broken. Yes! Broken! Jan 30th, the entire network of charging stations (Yes, ALL EVgo stations in the country) were out of service. This means you will have to wait and wait or run out of energy. This has been nothing but problems. These are the facts. EVgo is horrible and unreliable. It's July 30th now. Same issue. EVgo is going broke. Stock price $22 in Jan 2021. Today, $3.71/share going down. The fact they don't respond to reviews proves they don't care!
Unable to login using the app..the website works fine.
Half of the time it doesn't even work! I opened it up and it shows me charger in California, I couldn't care less about California. When I get it to where I live it doesn't show me anything.
