@UnderWashington @Xfinity @Starlink I kicked HughesNet out and set Starlink up myself three months ago. Much faster and far more reliable.
@BenjaminDEKR I get reliable 1 gig internet for $79 a month from a cable company. Starlink is a good product that serves a small niche. It hasn’t leapfrogged anyone except Hughesnet.
@UnderWashington @Xfinity @Starlink We live in the remote mountains in N E Wa State. Had hughesnet for 5 yrs which sucked. I will ALWAYS have Starlink now. When our power goes out I have a couple of deep cycle batteries charged up and use them for SLink. It works ALL the time. Elon is workin on a cell phone plan.
@SophiaNarwitz Ended up moving 10 years ago out to the boonies and got stuck with HughesNet. I know the pain!
@UnderWashington @Xfinity @Starlink I do! I love it. Speed is great. Doesn't go out. My phone works great too! Didn't have that with my other, HughesNet.
