Once a publicly traded company, Mediacom went private in a $600 million transaction in March 2011 and is now solely owned by Commisso.

@MediacomCable is down once again claiming a cable cut. 5 times in 6 months. About time the #publicservicecommision starts looking hard into the Public Awareness Policy of Mediacom. This is way too much.
So @MediacomCable has once again left me with an usable internet connection after their maintenance this week broke something. A week where I NEED to stream and I have no idea how long it's going to be like this Yet again horrific and unacceptable service. Just a joke.

So pissed atm @MediacomCable . My internet has been out since last Thursday it got installed that Monday. Had an appointment scheduled on Thursday for Monday, they never assigned it to a tech so it got pushed back to Tuesday I had told them I’d be at work till 3 and it would 1/2
